HOW TO ENTER
1 Decide on the category your team will enter under
Categories of Entry
Sports Clubs
Companies
Youth Organisations
Pubs and Clubs
Certificates will be awarded for the winning teams in each heat with Competition Cups for the finalists in each category. The “Regatta Cup” will be awarded to the winning team in the final.
In addition there will be Competition Cups for the:
Fastest youth team (all under 18);
Fastest all female team;
Best Fancy Dress;
Best own built raft (with a cash prize of £50).
2 The charity to be supported by the event is Cotswold Care, our local Hospice. A further link can be found on the Regatta Charities page. You will be asked to collect sponsorship to support your efforts and to benefit Cotswold Care. Sponsorship forms will be sent out with the Racing Pack.
3 Please read the Conditions of Entry, Risks & Advice and Conduct of Racing pages to ensure that you understand the rules – especially those relating to safety. Whilst the Organisers will provide safety & rescue boats, radio communications and first aid services for the safety of all persons attending, it is essential that all competitors follow the rules in order not to place themselves or others at any un-necessary risk.
4 The entry fee is £10 per person. You can build your own raft or borrow one of ours. If you would like to borrow one of ours there is an extra charge of £10 for the raft and you must let us know on the entry form. Entry fee for juniors (14 and over - up to 18) is £5 per person.
5 Complete the entry form, ensuring any approval by the parents/guardians for any crew under age of 18. The minimum age for participants is 14 years.

7 Incomplete Entry Forms will be returned. You will be notified of the start time for your category and heat with the Racing Pack that will be sent out when your entry has been received.
8 To assist with
commentary at the event - and to give publicity to any sponsors of your
team or raft - please send us details of interest about your entry
(sponsor organisation, previous experience, where you are from, who you
want to thank, etc) before the event.
